summarily, hugin and munin are odin's ravens. hugin and munin are thought and memory, respectively. each day they gather information to bring back to odin.

twinofhugin, except that he is much smarter and he knows too many things.
there are machines. they have names. an incomplete list exists here; there are a few others, in various states of disrepair and/or undress, along with piles and piles of trash hardware.
mimisbrunnr [== well of mimir] is the well of knowledge; odin gave an eye to drink from it. [there will be stuff there someday, when we have time.]
the end of man is to know;
all knowledge is worth having.
